दक्षिण दिल्ली की एक बुजुर्ग महिला को पुलिस कर्मियों का रूप धारण करने वाले ठगों ने धोखा दिया, जिन्होंने तत्काल भुगतान की आवश्यकता वाले कानूनी मुद्दे का निर्माण करके उससे 83 लाख रुपये ऐंठ लिए।
खुद को कैसे सुरक्षित रखें:-
ऐसे मामलों में लोग कुछ कॉमन गलतियां करते हैं। अगर सावधानो बरती जाये तो साइबर अपराधियों से बचा जा सकता है। सबसे जरुरी है बिना डरे सावधानी और समझदारी से काम लेना है। जब कोई क्राइम किया ही नहीं है तो डरने की जरूरत नहीं है।
1. स्रोत की पुष्टि करें: हमेशा सरकारी एजेंसियों या कानून प्रवर्तन से होने का दावा करने वाले संचार की पुष्टि करें। असली अधिकारी फोन या सोशल मीडिया पर गिरफ्तारी पर चर्चा नहीं करेंगे।
2. अवांछित संदेशों पर संदेह करें: तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग करने वाले या गंभीर परिणामों की धमकी देने वाले अनचाहे संदेशों से सावधान रहें। प्रतिष्ठित संगठन ईमेल या टेक्स्ट के माध्यम से कानूनी मामलों को नहीं संभालते हैं।
